Kinder Ready Family Workbook
Through this workbook, students will get an in depth look at “family” words.
Students can blend/isolate the sounds the letters in m-o-m, spell out loud m-o-m, write mom at the bottom lined area and draw a picture of mom. The same directions apply for instructional pages for dad, grandma, grandpa, brother, sister, pet, and home. At the end of the book, students are required to write a sentence using each family word using “brave spelling”, sounding out words without any assistance. After the student has completed the writing activity, review any spelling errors with them.
Kinder Ready Letter Fun Activity Book
Students can use Letter Fun Book to build up reading fluency and practice. A is for apple. B is for ball, etc. Students can gain word mastery by writing the sentences they read and discussing. To add a kinesthetic element to the learning students can “air trace” the letters before reading the sentences.
Kinder Ready ABC Flashcards
Students can review letters, sounds, and practice repetitious reading with the letter word associations contained in the sentence. First, reach through the cards talking about the letters. Next go through the cards and review the letter sounds. Finally, go through each of the cards and read the sentences contained on each. Next, have the student read through the cards stating the letter, sound, and then reading the given sentence.
Kinder Ready ABC Letter Poster (Boy/Girl)
Early learners will use the posters to write the full alphabet and to also write the words associated with each alphabetic letter. Early learners can match the letter color from the poster to their paper to help form a strong visual connection.
